This was originally posted to lotr_community for their 'Believe it or Not' challenge for October. It's very short, but boy was it fun to write Tolkien again!

I love the new look of your journal. Great colours.

Excellent. I love that he stopped to take a rose clipping. Always a pleasure to return to Middle Earth.

I enjoyed hearing from Gimli while his dad was away. I liked Dimvin. Good name too. lol.

It was fun to set something during the Hobbit! Not a time period that there's a lot of fanfic.

I suspect once the movie is out, there will be a LOT more hobbit fanfic. I wonder how us veterans will feel, sitting around looking wisely through our beards while the newbies come to play. I may have to point at Dragon Fever, saying I did this 8 years ago, y'all. LOL.

I often forget to visit LJ for days at a time. I think I'm behind a chapter of your Defender of the Way fic. I just posted a new chapter of Elegy. Took me long enough.

I like the new colors! Very pretty and also easy on the eyes to read!

Enjoyed the fic! I really like the part where he cuts a rose for himself, tying in with the title. I always like that!
