I'm at home, as my knight in armor, pghpatronus, has come down with the flu, so I'm not travelling to visit with him and wolfiekins and koshweasley. We're all disappointed that we won't get to see each other, and I hope that PGH gets well soon. He's on some serious meds, and I'm in a funk ( Read more... )

No, I'm feeling fine- it's pghpatronus who has a serious case of the flu. But he was my driver. :(

I'm glad that you enjoyed some of these; it was a good year for writing, despite it all. Hopefully that will continue into next year, in whatever genres appeal as the months go on. In looking back, I can say without a doubt that 2007 was the Year of Ron! ;)

I've pretty much read all your H/R's and R/D's and enjoyed them
I think Strife impressed me the most with its originality
and how you handled Ron, Bill and Harry in that post apocalyptic world. I remember holding my breath half the time that I was reading it.

Yeah, not the way I'd been hoping and planning to spend New Year's, but quiet time to write and read is always welcome.

Thanks for your comments about Strife! I think it is one of the most original stories I've written, given its particular setting and how purposefully ambiguous it is.

Thev. I'm so sorry it didn't work out, I know you've been looking forward to your visit for so long, but maybe you can schedule another visit, maybe for Easter. You'll have other moments dear heart, don't fret all will be fine.

And it was an brilliant year for you, I'm so proud of all the work you've done and I'm so happy to say I know you, and was able to see a lot of your work before anyone else, makes me feel honored to call you friend.

Yes, I'm sorry too. Instead of hanging out with my packmates, I'll just be productive, which is okay, but not nearly as much fun. As you say, though, there will be other opportunities.

Thank you for your kind words about my stories. You've definitely been there to see most all of it in advance. In fact, I should send you what I have of the Magic Immunity and you can tell me if I'm writing anything at all interesting, lol.
