I always say that R/D is the ugly stepchild of HP slashdom. It's such a shame really
because there is a lot of potential in them as demonstrated by your
series.
This was a hot little story while sort of mellow and examining their innerworkings.
I think it turned out great :) I loved Ron's stopping short of saying "home"
and Draco telling him that it was ok. So realistic for the beginnings of long term
relationships.

I love R/D!! I think it's gorgeous and not an ugly stepchild at all. ;) But we are a smaller comm than some, though we're pretty devoted. I'm so glad that you enjoyed this!

This layout only has a column width of 400 pixels; it's kindof the bane of my existence. It had more personality than I realized when I picked it out!!

At any rate, I'm so pleased that you read this and enjoyed it. In this R/D universe, I suspect they'll be together for quite some time...

I almost think that this dynamic is a bit more satisfying than the average H/R...but I do love this 'verse, with surfer!Ron and knitting!Draco!

...Ron adjusted the thickness in his denims and went to the kitchen to get a beer. Inspection of the refrigerator revealed a disturbing lack of ale of any kind...

Oh, balls! Shame on Draco for not keeping a few bottles in the cold box...but I suppose he was busy on the 'project'!

More fantastic glimpses into your two men, so much packed into such a nicely taut, short story! Excellent reparte, and teh hawt...well, tenting drawstring pants and thicknesses restrained by denim are but a few of my favourite things!

Fire 'n ice, baby. It's the inherent tension there that you'll almost never find in H/R. And probably what keeps me so firmly entrenched in R/D. That, and I think they're gorgeous together. :sigh:

Oh, luv, the treat and subsequent pleasure is all mine! Of COURSE I'd read! And you're right about the built-in historical tension between the two...makes for very deep, very REAL relations...and yeah, they're frelling gorgeous together! Especially when you write them! I do like the book, I do!! Surfing Ron is great fun, even though I didn't touch on it much here. This really was just a PWP, but every small bit adds to the fullness of the universe.

There's not a lot of R/D right now, is there? I can't figure it out. Either there never was much, and now there's even less, or our ship is shrinking. :sniff: I guess I'll just continue to write it because I so love them together.
