OKGo have been trying so hard now for so long to be famous. This treadmill video might be enough to actually push them over the edge. I saw them play once or twice in 2001 or so, opening for They Might Be Giants. I was actually fairly impressed, but I also wasn't the "hardened indie fan" that i pretend to be now. OKGo are good sometimes, but sometimes they try too hard to fit into the "quirky" category (whatever that means). Actually, I hate the idea of that category. And the word itself.

I thought the dancing video previous to that was the pushing over the edge one. This one's a squinch too "lo-fi", almost. And yeah, they still get no respect from a lot of people.
