Did you know that there was lace made of human hair? I am sincerely doubting that there are still people out there who make it.

However. My recent fascination with collodion photography has, in my opinion, panned out pretty well, since I have discovered that there are still folks who lug around turn-of-the-century cameras, and are not entirely ( Read more... )

I think the intent is that you weave your own hair into lace, and then give it the one you love. There's a John Dunne poem at the page that gives that impression.
