That was definitely the worst thing about being a woodwind. Which would more than explain why I leaped at the chance to switch to tuba my senior year. (And yet I still haven't done anything with it. Go figure.)

And I can't even begin to imagine how horrendous Ascension must've sounded in the heat. That's just one of those pieces that needs to be heard under the right circumstances.

Finals were SO AMAZING THIS YEAR. God I was like 60 rows up and on the 50, it was pretty much the most mind blowing experience ever!

Alas, though I considered trying out numerous times, lack of monetary funds always kept me away. (Although now that I'm doing better in that department I'm thinking about doing a senior corps (probably Alliance or CorpsVets, since being in Atlanta makes them not too far away since Orlando HeatWave disbanded).)
