So...

I think I might have Carpal Tunnel. Now, I'm not much of a hypochondriac (that job totally belongs to my older sister), but just... DAMN. My wrist has been absolutely killing me the past few days. It sort of feels like the pain would subside if I could manage to pop something in there, the only problem is there is nothing to pop. (Believe me ( Read more... )

DUDE, AMEN ABOUT THE UST. IT IS SO FUCKED UP. SO FUCKED UP.

And BAH! I am a wimp for pain, so having any sort of...issues would totally freak me out. I stray away from any and all situations relating (directly, indirectly, can cause maybe even remotely) to broken bones and the breaking of such and/or any situation where I could possibly hurt myself. *WIMP 4EVA*

STUPID PAIN. DDDDDDDDDDDD: <3333

IT IS EPIX FAIL IS IT NOT?? *joins in with Adrian's DO NOT WANT face*

And teh pain is major suxx0rz. The last time it hurt anywhere near this bad was back when I was in the seventh grade and I had an... incident involving too much time free time, not enough common sense, extra people, two of those metal pole/cement/rubber tire dealies that schools use to hold up volleyball nets, and gravity.

...It sounds a lot more complicated that it actually is. 8BBBB

*hugs and a half* You got all kinds of pain going on this post. I'm so sorry. Any kind of hand pain is the absolute worst. It's like you forget that you use your hands for EVERYTHING until they are too sore to function. I really hope you find a solution for that soon! Have you thought about seeing a doctor?

*squish* I'm normally very anti-doctor, since I've been screwed over by them so many times before, but this actually hurts enough to make me want to consider it. The only problem being that I just recently fell off my dad's insurance and can't exactly afford the group plan through my work.

In the mean time, I guess I'll just stick with my brace and "shop" around the different pain pills.

At the risk of sounding like an old woman, I recommend soaking it in warm water with epsom salts. That shit is the only way I made it through gymnastics sometimes in the winters. Also, stupid as it sounds, elevating your wrists while typing does make a difference.

Aleve doesn't help? Yikes. There's something called Orudis (ketoprofen) that you can get over the counter, that helps me out with body pain a lot, on those rare occasions when Aleve fails me. It might work for you, too.

I'd really recommend that you see a doctor, though, if you can. In any case, I hope it subsides soon. ^_^

*adds to grocery list* Hopefully, I'll be able to find something that works soon. It's driving me nuts that I can no longer write stuff at my old speed.

Again, tempting as a visit to the doctor sounds, the probability of it happening is nil. You see, there is this wonderful thing called INSURANCE. Sadly, I am lacking in that department.

But thanks for the wishes! BD

O_O

Well, given how much I type, I'll probably be with you there within a few years. *sigh*

Let's just hope that by then I'll be rich and famous and married to Zachary Quinto and will be able to hire someone to type for me & such while I dictate. Except that I actually enjoy typing. Bugger.

I love the fictional UST, though! But the non-fictional sucks asshattery. D: D: D:

But, but... WHO WILL BRING US OUR PR0N? *wibble*

Well, if you're married to Zach I guess it wouldn't be so bad. I mean, it's not exactly like you're settling or anything.

Fiction > Reality.

I WILL ALWAYS BRING YOU PR0N. ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THROUGH PAIN AND NUMBNESS AND WRIST BRACES IT WILL ALWAYS, ALWAYS BE DONE!!!

IT IS LIKE THE SOLE CONSTANT IN THE UNIVERSE!!! TEH PR0N!!!

Trust me, I'm the last person to settle for something less than what I expect. Srsly. AND ZACH JUST HAPPENS TO FALL WITHIN ALL OF MY PARAMETERS SO YOU KNOW. I WOULD BE HAPPY.

I would still write teh pr0n for the good of humanity, although I wouldn't need it for wish fulfillment anymore, I have a feeling. XDDDD

FICTION > REALITY FOAR REALZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
