Since it looks like this may be one of my last big entries before I head off for New York, (what with me being preoccupied with laundry, packing, last-minute shopping, map plotting, etc.) I'll try to tie-up most of my loose ends all at once. *deep breath* Here goes ( Read more... )

Thanks for the reminder about the graphic novel. I always forget to look for it. Aww, I love Ando! He's adorable, even in comic book form!

I keep watching your mood theme animation. You know, I think that's my favorite moment/scene from the entire first season? The telekinesis! The badassery! Peter/Sylar, Peter/Mohinder, Mohinder/Sylar - all at once! THE TELEKINESIS! (No, I don't have a one-track mind, why do you ask?) It's a cool shot, too, when we see him levitate all the glass. I rewatched the episode last Thursday and I had a bit of a flailing problem. XD

I just find it incredibly "awwwww" that in his absence, Ando has sort of BECOME Hiro, with the quotes, and all the "I'm a hero!" business, and him just being all :3 alluvasudden. Only he's more of a perv than Hiro ever let on to be was.

My mood theme pwns me so much. I can't tell you how many times I've just sort of zoned out watching it over and over. Although now that I think about it, in this mood in particular Mohinder has some crazy lightning fast reflexes. He's little more than a blur!

I need to catch up on the graphic novels...I left off on the first issue of Claude

hee, yesterday I saw a bit of a short film where James Kyson Lee (Ando) was this immigrant forced to be a flower deliveryman-assassin and then he got double-crossed and got shot in the head. awww

I was just a little disappointed with the Claude arc. I thought it focused a bit too much on Haram, and truthfully I'd have liked to see a little bit of Claude before he joined up with the Company. :/

That... sounds like one of the most random plots ever. I can't really picture him as an assassin-type guy (probably due to the fact that the only other thing I've seen him in is a McDonald's commercial), but getting shot? That I could see.

It's when I start singing 'A Little Priest' at work that people begin to give me strange looks.

And not at all! I would be waiting for the printed copies, only I've always been the kind of person to be all "Need. Info. NOW." I'm still torn over the fact that they chose to publish with DC rather than Marvel. Especially after having Stan Lee on the show.

And the PICTURE. 8] I seriously think that the suits at NBC had some major questions for the artist of that issue after the commotion it caused. Something in me wants to say that the only explanation available was "I did it for the LULZ".

Also, please tell me I'm not the only sick fuck person who was laughing uncontrollably on Monday night watching George Takei make out with Dave Foley.

*waves hand*

Dude, totally right there with you!! The fact that he was the first one up after Shannon Elizabeth to kiss the Viking guy had me ROLLING! He fricken killed me!

HAHHAHAHHAAA. I was just sort of flitting between the TV and computer, not really paying attention, and all of a sudden I was just "Uhhr, WTF Viking!Takei?" And then as soon as Shannon started all I could think of was "Oh please, please have George do something."

It was like a Christmas Miracle.

This post is full of love! First off, the new graphic novel had me squeeing. Because 1) finally some Ando love and 2) now we're back on track! As you said, I love the backstory, but this new installment makes me feel more like the new season is just around the corner. Very exciting!

I'm downloading the Sweeney Todd stuff, since I've never heard that one before and I'm very intrigued (based on reports of the Johnny Depp movie coming out). :)

And hooray for Wicked!

Eee, I know! I mean, the other day I just sort of said to myself "Y'know what? Ando hasn't had an issue, yet. The hell is that about?" I'm just so crazy excited to see where they take his story next year. It should be highly entertaining. :]

And dude, Sweeney is AWESOME. I know a lot of stage purists would kill me for saying this, but I actually prefer Patti LuPone in the part over Angela Lansbury. And this is coming from someone who grew up absolutely in LOVE with Angela Lansbury! (My main fear with the Burton/Depp take is the whole Helena Bonham Carter thing. Me + her = NOTP.

I've listened to Sweeney Todd this afternoon, and I must say that I adore this musical. For its dark sense of humor, its creepy undercurrent, its pure awesomeness! My worry at the moment is whether or not any of the folks Burton has cast can sing at all. I like Helena Bonham Carter as an actress, but I've never heard her sing before. And Johnny Depp didn't do his own singing in Cry Baby, I recently found out. So... I don't know what to expect now, lol.

(Your icon is so appropriate.) Looking at the cast list, the only person on there that I've actually heard sing is Anthony Head, (he sang his part in the BtVS musical fabulously) but his part (Ballad Ghost) will probably be so small and insignificant that it won't really matter.
