I just received my new issue of Entertainment Weekly and they have an article about the scariest shows on TV right now.
There are two full page pictures of Carla Gugino. I don't have a scanner, but I did find one of the pictures at www.ew.com
They asked her a few questions as well.
Why her show is the scariest thing on TV ''It's this idea that if there was another intelligent life-form trying to infiltrate us, they would probably do it in a way that was much creepier than we could imagine,'' says Gugino, 34, who stars as scientist Molly Anne Caffrey, leader of a supersecret government team trying to contain a viruslike alien threat. ''People are being altered - their DNA is being changed.''
Best Halloween costume ''I grew up in Northern California in a very hippie environment, so I got to pull off a really good gypsy costume - the silk scarf around the head and the dangling earrings.''
Favorite horror movie ''I've never outgrown my fear of The Shining - that hotel is so creepy, this place where you cannot escape.''
Spooky show secrets ''The aliens are finding other means of infection. It's only a matter of time before we can't contain it. We will learn more about their reasoning and what they're trying to achieve. And the same way any bad guy will go for the people closest to the ones they're fighting, [alien forces] will go after those people in our lives.'' Oh no, we hope that doesn't spell trouble for Molly's dog, Monster.
Is fighting pretend otherworldly beings all day messing with your head? ''I rarely have nightmares [a key symptom of Threshold infection], but two nights ago I dreamed that someone was in my kitchen trying to kill me. I was like, 'Oh my God, am I communicating with aliens? Are they trying to tell me something?''' --Jennifer Armstrong
Obviously I'm disappointed that they only talked with her and not anyone else in the cast (Brent!) and didn't show any pictures of the rest of the cast either (Brent!) but I'm glad the show is being featured in the magazine so I'll get over it. ;o)
