So everyone knows the popular My Life is so-and-so threads right? Let's start one now! :P

Basically, post a minute blurb from your everyday life that reminds you of Havemercy. Has to end in "MLIH" or some variant. (IE, "MLIT" for "My Life is Thom," or somethin'.)

I was reading an essay called "How Bigger Was Born" as part of our Native Son unit in English class, when I came across this quote:

The conductor flared up: "Get out of that seat!" Bigger took out his knife, opened it, held it nonchalantly in his hand, and replied: "Make me." The conductor turned red, blinked, clenched his fists, and walked away, stammering.

Need I say more? MLIH

The scones one?

I made the text, but the icon's a steampunk version of England, a character from the anime Hetalia. I could send you the larger pic if you want :D

That would be awesome! Also someday I will watch Hetalia. Someday.

I just liked it cause steampunk = awesome, and also the text is a fairly accurate rendition of myself in my younger years anytime my mom would try to wake me up early on a Saturday. "Do I get scones? No? THEN I'M STAYING IN BED." XD

Whenever we talk about the air force during the second World War I can't help but sit there going..."DRAGONS! IT WOULD'VE BEEN COOLER WITH DRAGONS!"

I feel as though this is terribly unoriginal but :P

So the other day we were studying the Berlin Blockade, and how Americans and Brits flew loads of supplies into the bit of Berlin that the Russians were trying to capture. And we get a little sheet called "Consequences of the Berlin Blockade" and right at the top it says something like "the Western airmen were seen as heros" and I'm there trying so hard not to squee because, yeah, MLIH.
Also, the fashion ATM for steampunkish military jackets? More specifically, blue ones? Oh yeah.

So I'm waiting in line for my graduation regalia the other day, and they're handing out fliers for class rings. The official website is http://www.balfour.com/ !

Then in class the next day, we're reading this article, and I just about wet myself when I read the first line of Chapter 1 (page 4)!

MLIH!

It seems gloves aren't the only thing Balfour's handy at.

I might be being really dumb here, but I can't find a page 4. It seems to go from Roman numbers to page 30-something. Care to copy-n-paste?

Hm, I don't know how to copy and paste a PDF... if you look at the page count on top (instead of on the actual pages), I think that was what I was looking at. Basically, it's an article about Easterners and a British guy named Balfour *dies*
