Alanna? It's Marty. Angela just came and found me about student who's gone missing by the name of Kitty Pryde. She has a dragon name Lockheed who is at Dream's office at the moment

Alanna glared at her phone and left him a message. "Marty, I'm on my way there right now."

Marty returns the phone call the next morning.

"Alanna? Let me know if you have time to talk about what happened last night and give me an update. Something happened to me last Thursday night that I probably should have told you sooner but... I've been avoiding thinking about and with parents weekend... *sighs* Yeah. I'll probably be avoiding study hall today but you can probably find me in the dorm common room."

"Alanna? Parker. What the hell is up with Kitty Pryde being dead? What's going on? Call me!"

"Miss Parker, please keep this quiet, for now. I know about as much as you do. She's dead. There ends my knowledge."

"Do the police know?" Parker's voice is only slightly calmer. "And if they don't, is anyone doing anything about it?"

"Yes, they do. And yeah, Marty and I are poking." Alanna leans away from the cell phone and empties her stomach into the toilet. "Sorry."

House hates talking on the telephone. Hates voice mail even more.

"Alanna, it's Dr House. Sorry to bother you, but something's come up. I've got to go in to town tonight and Dr Wilson will be with me. Is there any chance you could cover the clinic either this evening or tomorrow morning? At the very least, I need to arrange for someone to check on Jack. Call me back if you get the message."

Alanna disliked telephones about as much, mostly because she wasn't even sure if she was using them correctly usually.

"Dr. House, I'll be glad to cover the clinic both times. Does Jack need anything specific?"

"Thanks, Alanna. And no. Just...check on him. Do you know how to change an IV drip bag?"
