[The sound of screaming can be heard - though on a different frequency, it's obvious that the sound is close to Wanda being attacked.

There are a few stomps, a vicious, snarling roar, and the sound of metal blades hitting one another.

After a few moments of this, the communicator hits the ground very hard and times out abruptly.]

Right. Where the hell is that bastard...

[Long legs were a real blessing at times, especially now when they were running out of time. The sooner they got to that stupid fucking moss head the better - it was already getting way out of hand, if he hadn't already killed someone he would if they left him like this long enough.

So here they were, combing the streets of Discedo for anything that resembled their infected nakama. Judging from the transmission he was still somewhere in the city, so getting him out of here was definitely topping the priority list. And then... well. It needed to be done.]

You see him yet?!

[Umi didn't know what to think of the past few days. With people coming and going so frequently, and so many attacks, it was tempting just to stay inside. To help Prydain with lookout duties, to make sure everyone else was okay... She was nervous, she had to admit, especially after what Usopp had said to her earlier. Maybe Zoro really had been affected by what was going around.

Still, in the end, she knew that holing up in a building wouldn't realistically do her any good -- besides, she had things to get done, right? Nothing ventured, nothing gained. And it wasn't a long walk, either -- so she secured her sword and left the Gohl house, going at a quick walk in the direction of the hospital.]

[This was it. Zoro was gone - completely consumed by the malice. A strange creature created by anger and rage. He was roaming the streets of the city - clearly much bigger than he was as a man, and the shape he'd taken was just as frightening. Fur that matched his hair color, arms that mirrored his swords - and sharp tongue to match. It would unrecognizable to most; But those who knew Zoro well were likely to understand the appearance of the creature.

It came barreling around the corner, letting out a vicious cry before stopping in front of Umi.]

[She heard the creature before she saw it, and immediately she felt the familiar sensation of muscles tensing, drawing her sword before she really, fully realized that some kind of danger was coming her way. If Discedo had done one thing for her, it was to sharpen the instincts that had begun to manifest in Cephiro -- maybe survival instincts.

She was ready for the creature when it cried out; when it came to a halt, she watched it warily. She had never seen a monster like-- ...No. That was wrong. She had seen this creature before, hadn't she? The same color of his hair, the same stance-- But...that couldn't be right!

Could it?

She sucked in a sharp, surprised breath. Was this what had happened to Hayner, to all the others that had begun to act so strangely? Could it be possible? It was almost surreal. She remained rooted where she was for a moment, wide-eyed, motionless.]

[When the creature stopped in front of Umi, the most obvious thing that could be seen was that is was clearly not in recognition of the girl. No. It was nothing more than something in his way. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just another target. Another notch. Another to add to the ever-growing list that week.

It was obvious he was more aggressive as well, wasting no time raising his razor-sharp arms and taking vicious swings in Umi's general direction.]
