Jethro's confession to Caroline was gut-wrenching and written perfectly, to my ear. Yeah, it fucking sucked, as Tony would say. Tony is slipping into his thoughts a lot now, isn't he. I like that he is aware of this, and that he was uncomfortable with texting Tony, but did it anyway. "Now I'm starting to worry. Do I need to come over there?" That intuition and caring that exists between them without embarrassment. That is important.
The depression in military families, the hidden struggles - beautiful.
I also loved that the pain is "bearable" and that he is "almost all the way back." Ouch, so desperate, that. It wouldn't be an easy thought for Gibbs, not at all.
