Well, at least I'm getting my VISA in seven days. Let's just leave it at that. (Dx)

This VISA preparation and interview has been so incredibly stressful. When I was finally done after the entire morning of havoc, I was so relieved I was on the verge of fainting.

Otherwise, my couple days basically revolved around my camera, my brand new plaid/ ( Read more... )

Is this for moving to the US? I've never gotten a VISA so I actually don't know much about it. I was born in Japan and lived in the US for most of my life so I have a green card instead haha.

Gosh, I used to be so lazy. Last year, I didn't do anything until I got up and looked for a part-time job. Now I work so I totally forgot how it feels to have nothing to do all day. :-P But once we arrive on campus, I'm sure there will be TONS of things to do. I mean, unpacking will be the first thing on my list!

yeah it's the student visa I need to study in the states. You should be glad you didn't have to go through the onerous process, but if you end up working abroad, you'll probably have to then.

Man, I wish I could work in college. Int'l students aren't permitted to work outside the campus, so maybe I'll have to be a janitor for some time. :/ What clubs are you thinking of taking at SUA?

Ohh gosh those things are usually pain in the asses. I know that I'll have to deal with like 1000 more in my life.

I'm sure there are lot's of jobs you can take up on campus. I probably wont be working outside campus either since I can't drive. I'm from NY and you really don't need a car to get around.

As for clubs, I know that I want to do track and maybe join the orchestra. But otherwise, I'm not really sure yet. How about you?

(forrest gump = yays! :D)

yeah I never needed a license to get around Tokyo either. I'm gonna really miss the subway. :C

Lots of people are going to be joining the orchestra! You'll be in good company no doubt. My friend Charlene is doing track at SUA and she says it's fantastic. I'll probably end up supporting the drama club (since they only have 6 members at the moment. schmoo :c)
