I can't get over how awesome that movie was!!!!!Mrs. Matsumoto subbed for Japanese today! I miss having her - she was one of the only JNL teachers I've really respected. She took up half the class extolling the virtues of Kyogen and the other half simply being adorable ( Read more... )

Oh my God, that's what your aunt and uncle do? That is so incredibly cool.

So, I'm pondering taking life drawing, and I was just wondering, is it particularly hard and demanding? And what projects does one do there?

Life Drawing was probably my favorite at course out of HS. Not that it was particularly fun, but it taught me a lot of valuable techniques that really bumped up my skills.
Most of the projects help you get better at rendering, highlights, shadows, depth and accuracy. It's not so much expressive, though, so keep that in mind.
