I. Intonation Hell
Friday's listening exercises were HELL. At least, the first part, where it's one of those evil intonation things, where you have to figure out which of two words that sound exactly the same except for the intonation they're saying... Such as ( Read more... )

I can't do your poll for some strange reason, but I say go for the nice one! I know how frustrating it is not being able to take a picture the instant you want to... and you just miss the perfect one. If you can buy it and still eat, you're in good shape. Have fun and happy shooting!

This would be the main issue at work here, you see... ^^

Being in Japan hasn't really left Eric with much opportunity to work, so he's been living off of savings (some) and the money I've been giving him from my scholarship to pay back my rent (mostly).. and even THAT is in short supply at the moment.. (ie. I'm running low on cash and can't afford to give him as much..) So if he wants the camera, he's going to have to start working again.. and that's never fun.

I've been trying to be the whole "Make sure you'll USE all those advanced pro features before shelling out for the DSLR" voice of reason here... but really, I just want to borrow the thing and play ;_;

that sounds so like you. Reasonable and [insert word like "selfish" that has no bad connotation] at the same time. I really want a dSLR too. Somethin terrible. Hopefully when I (hopefully) get into JET. Took JLPT level 2 today. It was fun. See ya!
