Lovely picspam. :D Martha Jones kicks butt - I rather like that she's found her own niche away from the Doctor now. And she's engaged to Milligan! (Can't wait to see Tom Ellis in that Much Ado About Nothing - I need to get on that.) I have to admit, I wasn't crazy about "42" but I did love William Ash. He reminded me of Jonas Armstrong in Robin Hood - I think it was the accent. I kind of 'shipped him and Martha in that ep too ;)
By the way, do you usually colourize your picspams, or do you just do layers of screen and soft light/etc.?
You haven't watched Much Ado About Nothing yet? I looooooove that movie =D! It's so funny that he has been engaged to both 'Rose' AND 'Martha'. William Ash doesn't really remind me of Jonas, but okay.
It depends on the individual screencap. For most of these I just used a RGB Curves layer, but on probably 1/3 of them I used some Levels to adjust the colors a bit, and then on just several I used a Saturation layer to up the colors. I used the same process in my recent Casualty 1900s picspams, though those took more work to adjust (these Martha caps were nicer DVDs caps). So to actually answer your question I don't normally colorize too much, but sometimes I will add a bit of Saturation or hone in on the colors already present.

And you chose such great caps that I just want to icon every single one of them! Are we able to use them for icons if we credit you for the pics and link to this entry? Or would you rather us not because you've edited and colored them?
Go ahead and use these for whatever, no credit necessary! I had a heck of a time finding any S3 DVD caps so I just went through and capped Martha in most of the eps. I have about 800 caps, mostly Martha, I could upload them to galleries if you're interested? Let me know =)!
