Hey, So I'm trying a different way of dealing with issue, but I'm finding it IMPOSSIBLE to access an instance from wtihin a movieclip. I can access it if its just a movieclip on the stage, but if it's nested in another one I can't get it to work using dot notation. I've moved my function to a class thinking it'll help, but it hasn't

Ok, so I don't know anything about all that jibberish. But don't explode! Or hang yourself! Take a deep breath, close your eyes and imagine a door. Put your hand on the doorknob and turn it. Slowly open the door and enter a room .... FULL OF KITTENS!!! IN TU-TUS!!! PLAYING WITH LASERS!!
