Skiing today from 9 to 2:30 or so. Lovely. 2 degrees, but thankfully not much wind. Took my cousin Ben All over the mountain (he's Clara's brother, 14). He kept up pretty well for someone who hasn't seen snow in years. Beautiful, beautiful pace. Hot bath and drying out in front of the fire. Light snowfall, white birches outside ( Read more... )

Skiing sounds lovely! You are missing the most wonderful drizzle/rain/drizzle with fog. Or not. On the other hand its ~62. I'll trade.

I loved Curious George. My grandparents always had the books when I was little and I remember reading them periodically through the years at their house. I'm pretty sure my neice and nephew have them now.

"Curious George Museum and Learning Center" sounds like a lovely place to do all manner of horrible things to children in the name of learning...
