Yeah, I heard about the NM legislation. CA's got something like this pending too, AFAIK. Bryn and Brian think everything east of the Rockies is dead weight and the West Coast ought to secede. Not to bag on MN at all... but they have a good plan. After all, CA has the 6th largest economy in the world, and we control something like 47% of the US' ports. Also, since most of the US Airpower comes from firms in Seattle, LA or Silicon Valley, we can just hit the "kill-switch" to disable them if they try to fuck with us. Oh, come on, all those engineer geeks; you think they DIDN'T put in a killswitch? Heheh, OK, maybe not, but it's a fun little fantasy.
