How did I never hear about the EPIC song that is Bear McCreary's "Apocalypse," you guys?! (I know, I know, it's my own fault for not being able to stomach even the idea of watching The Plan--which, sidenote, most ridiculous and deceptive title *ever*--but STILL.) His theme for The Cape sounded really cool, but I'm afraid even Bear's music can't save that show for me. Will have to wait for the soundtrack release, methinks.

I did not know this either! I still don't have the BSG soundtracks. Talk about ashamed. **sigh** I will have to remedy this in the near future. At least for S3. Those DRUMS!

OMG, yes, you totally need to invest in some of the BSG songs! I love all the albums to bits, but I think by Season 3 Bear was definitely at the top of his game. Let me know if you need any recs--I know pretty much all the songs and where they appeared in the show, or I'm sure I can find out if I don't know. :)

These tracks you are talking about are from the "The Plan"? I own all the BSG soundtracks and I *love* them, but I haven't heard of these ones either. I decided to stay away from anything related to this thing with the stupid name, but now I am sooo tempted to check the soundrack out!

I'm sorry I let my RDM rage distract me from your brilliance for so long.

Yep, "Apocalypse" is from The Plan. REALLY good, and it looks like there are a couple different versions/variations on the album. I still need to buy the whole thing at some point.

Bear McCreary makes EVERYTHING better man... his music even makes me able to deal somewhat with the scene that shall not be named.

Yeah, I have that song in my Starbuck/Apollo playlist even though, as you know, I HATE the scene it's for (I actually renamed the song for good measure, lol). (((Bear)))

I love Bear's music BUT because of RDM I haven't watched "The Plan" I should download the soundtrack though!

The awesome thing about not having watched The Plan is that I can enjoy the soundtrack purely for what it is, with zero knowledge of the scenes the songs appeared in. I love it. :)
