If Logan Echolls' memorable line to Veronica Mars that "they don't write songs about the ones that come easy" could ever be applied to another couple, it's Kara/Lee. Pilots never did do anything the easy way, did they? Despite that--hell, let's be honest, *because* of that--these two were EPIC. To sum up how and why in words or even a compilation of songs is impossible. So here, I've just tried to hit some of their highest highs and lowest lows in both the whole series and in specific episodes or time periods. I wanted to tell a kind of story about how I see their journey. That said, you'll see that there is an emphasis on Unfinished Business, and this is because while it doesn't always present them at their best--it does, in fact, actually reveal some of their worst moments--no other whole episode, to me, better exemplifies the beauty of their relationship in all its frakked-up glory. I really hope you enjoy the mix and would love to hear your thoughts on it.
