Um, are you me, because this post is so much like what I experience on a daily basis that it's actually kind of creepy ;)

Gotta love unpaid freelance! Do you not bill because your work is contractually pro-bono, or do you just feel bad about taking someone's money? I always undersell myself when it comes to freelance, especially since I work with a lot of nonprofits. It's hard to request a fee that is worthy of the work I do when my inner Quan-Yin is pulling at my heart strings.

You are NOT responsible for the actions of others. It's just like what we've been talking about in regards to addiction. Everyone is solely responsible for themselves. Period. You can say whatever you want to someone, but you can't physically force them to DO anything. THEY have to make that decision. Anyone who would blame you for doing something stupid based on something you said is attempting to abdicate personal responsibility. Eff them.

Nine months, most of them pretty good, but one that I was completely psychotic so I don't know if that counts. I wasn't hospitalized, I was just in a drug-induced haze, stared off in to space all day, and argued with the voices in my head.
