Is there any way to compare the release list to the people on the island? We've been getting wary because there hasn't been a kidnapping, and we want to make sure there was no one taken. It's possible that they didn't show up on the Midnight Channel.

SUBJ: Bullshit.
Went into the archives to check, because there aren't any missing persons cases on my desk. Turns out we have two categories for cases like that -- fictional and nonfictional. And the nonfictional case folder doesn't unlock for me. Hell, I nicked the Chief's ID # and password, and it doesn't open for them either.
Folders are only created for open cases. Someone's missing. I just can't tell you who.

Regarding your last point.. I agree that has been weighing on my mind as well. I suppose it is foolish of us to assume this system works exactly as the same as what we are used to, considering the differing variables we have been confronted with. However, then the point of all this remains elusive to me.

Do you have any ideas about the link between Iwatodai and Inaba?

Unfortunately we're not really limited between fictional and nonfictional.

Unfortunately, nobody's open enough about that kind of thing to form a useful predictive model.
