It is the summertime. The time has come for us to escape the stifling heat of the cities, not to mention the choking fumes of the Industrial Revolution..

To the country! To the GARDEN!

But since we're only that rich in our fantasies, we'll have to escape locally.. and locally shall we do so, at the US Botanic Garden in Washington, DC! http://www.

I'd already hoped to come if I can get a costume together, but I was wondering if photos would be acceptable? I'm an amateur photographer and I would love to work with some of the attendees and getting their pic. I'm sure people would not have a problem with photographers being present to photograph them. If you want to come out and take pictures, by all means come out, you'll have plenty of subject matter! :)
