RIGHT? RIGHT.

Matt Smith can just take me now.

And Idris!TARDIS dying was basically the same as every time the Doctor dies and regenerates - and the TARDIS is there to watch him through it, to, like, love him in every form, and EEEEE OH MY GOD EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EP WAS BEAUTIFUL/

I saw a comment on another LJ that this episode had a whole lot of heart. And yeah, I agree with that. Just, I mean the whole thing, junk yards and all, was like a love letter to the show and the characters at the centre of it.

(I may have been missing that sense of heart...)

But yes, lovely parallels with the Doctor's regeneration. And like the Doctor's regeneration, it is heartbreaking, but then we keep going and she is still there. Just like she always has been and always will be.

I particularly loved actually, that she was a TARDIS even in human form, she had passwords that were thoughts and was dislocated from time.

Also, can someone connect that pass code to Ten's time as Doctor?

Crimson, eleven, delight, "the smell of rain falling on sand".

(I LOVED Amy's mental interpretations of each. I do wonder about the flag though.)

Mmm, how's this for a solution:

the eye of the Ood
burning crimson through spacetime
roses are red too

eleven betrayals
(I'm sorry, I'm so sorry)
(I don't want to go)

his delight burned
Time Lord Victorious
loved and despaired

only Sexy mourns
only she can remember
the oncoming storm

Have I told you that you're wonderful lately?

By which I mean. Oh this is beautiful. Especially the last verse, such a fantastic interpretation, gosh you've got me all misty eyed.
