It's nice when everyone reacts calmly to these sorts of situations.

Well, mine was kind of flaily, but mostly, yeah.

I still feel like I have something I should say to this, but it's mostly just a gut reaction. Like, I'm glad that your neighbor cared enough about you to notice? But on the other hand, I hate it when people do that. I like to pretend no one can see me coming or going from the apartment. YOU SAW NOTHING. IN FACT, WE WILL GET ALONG A LOT BETTER IF YOU PRETEND I DON'T EXIST. I SHOW MY NEIGHBORLY LOVE BY DOING THE SAME TO YOU.

Basically, these kinds of confrontations are just a nightmare for me, but I'm glad it ...didn't get any worse than it did.

EXACTLY. I have feelings on this, AND I KNOW HAVING FEELINGS ON THIS IS PROBABLY A GOOD THING, but I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPRESS THEM. there were just, like, a lot of social justice things whirling around at once.

No one was injured and everyone got paid, which is probably the best possible outcome.
