So I realize this may sound like the dumbest thing ever, but this occurred to me the other day. It's hockey season. But I though hockey was in the winter? What with frozen lakes to skate on and such? Please forgive my ignorance. I may live in MD now, but I was raised much, much further south. I didn't see snow actually stick to the ground until college.
Ha, no worries. Much like baseball lasts well into fall does hockey season can last well into summer, if you're doing it right. It starts with the pre-season in September, and then the real season starts in October. And then you have a long-ass season of eighty two games that end roughly in April

On to the next! I am devoting every molecule of my body to the notion that the Caps will win tomorrow night.
Also, if you have a smartphone, get the Tune In radio app, and put it on the "Washington Capitals Play-by-Play" channel when the game starts. It's almost exactly in synch with the TV broadcast. It will save you lots of heartache. Unfortunately, it only works for home games.

I just lay on my couch for an hour afterward, being depressed and angry. I woke myself up being angry about the game THREE times that night. But I'm with you, I'm just going to focus on cheering for them to win tonight's game. We'll focus on Saturday after that.
