There's a wonderful view of the coast from here. The fog's still heavy and smothering from the morning, blurred across the rocks, and it makes the world shaded blue. There's a door opening.

The first words are quiet, casual. Heavy legs taking a normal step through the apartment.

The next words are panicked, worrier. Those legs running across.

There are large arms, holding Tom close.

He can't even hear himself talk right now.

"Careful, careful!" Being held close like that spreads pain spidering over the wounds. He can't tell what Cain's saying, doubts Cain can either. "...not as bad 's it looks..."

"OhgodHospitalhere" Cain says, trying to lift Tom up as carefully as a panicked, scared mountain of a man can. "Happened?" He says, forgetting the what to put in front of it.

"No hospital, no!" Were he familiar with with the effects of heavy bleeding he'd realize that his own rapid breathing is more serious than just panicking over doctors. "It's not that bad, I fixed it..."
