He'd chased Sam out to the movies last night, only because, even if she knew, he wasn't going to be able to get into a sound sleep without Cain to comfort him, and he didn't want her watching or listening to any of that. She'd wandered the city, giving them as much time as she could. She got it and she wouldn't mind having something like so she's willing to play street rat for a bit to give them time.

Crashing out in the chair, she slept like the dead and not waking until late in the morning. Bleary eyed, she wandered into the kitchen to find coffee.

She shrugs, dropping down to sit at the table. "Got into an all night pool game,' she murmurs, getting right back up and grabbing her back pack. Coming back, she dug into it and tossed some bills on the table, a few hundred at least.

"Amazing; how much they laugh when you set up a camera and your laptop and how much they whimper when you win."

Star arrives direct from the Guthrie farm, so he's in cut off jeans and a t-shirt when he turns up, swords openly displayed across his back.

He teleports straight to Tom's door and knocks loudly, glancing up and down the corridor. "Tom, it is me."
