I just added a contact to my address book, with the following note:

140124 NEIGHBOR locked himself out and called Eugene (Евгений - он русский), who got a deep cut while working. NEIGHBOR rang my bell for a bandage. I told E to come in, and applied antiseptic, antibiotic, and bandaids.

Oh, hell, I couldn't have had that conversation in Russian. This was the way he was doing the job for my neighbor. He was very grateful for the first aid. :-)

(Y)evgeniy, in one transliteration. I wasn't sure when writing my note to myself whether it ended in -ий or -ый, till I had a brainstorm and Googled "Eugene Onegin".
