I LOVED those books. I wasn't all down with the young-adult writing style but they made me think a LOT. Everyone should read them, especially impressionable and rebellious teenagers who are on the cusp of learning to think for themselves!

I have a really interesting interview with Pullman saved on my computer somewhere--I will try to send it to you.

Yeah, I love Terry Pratchett. Small Gods, Good Omens, etc..
I also love Neil Gaiman!
