Right. So the embedding didn't work. So, here's the link.

(Marcelle, send me one of the pink bills, and I'll redraw your Spock on it. :-))

.....I hope it's just me and there's not something missing. 'cause I see nothing.... :( And it's a big enough box of nothing that I feel confident it's probably me. *sigh* stupid computer. :P

No, it was supposed to be an embedded vid...but it didn't work. It was about how some Canadians are drawing Spock faces over Queen Elizabeth on their money since Friday's loss of Leonard Nimoy. I just thought it was such a quirky tribute. They're calling it "Spocking."

with the way my comp barfs sometimes, I couldn't say the with certainty that the problem wasn't mine, without asking. XD

well, that's an interesting tribute...and I didn't know it was illegal to draw stuff on US money. XD

My brother and I agree that there should be a special issue of the $5 bill with the best of the Spocks on it (most are crap but the one is really good) and that Canada Post would allow it on our stamps so why not the Bank of Canada? If it was an official issue and had all of the security features then no one would think it was counterfeit.

I think that's a great idea!

It'll never happen but I do think we should change the faces on the bills from time to time. If it has to be a Canadian then why not Shatner? ;~)
