This is just great! It really is the perfect idea for a crossover. It's nice seeing Owen and Tosh just a little more. I wish I knew what Death said to Tosh.

And Jack talking to Death is just perfect. Of course that's how it would be. I especially liked the line "She said his name then - his real one - and it fluttered like dark wings through every one of his atoms." Oh, and the last line, too. So pretty.

Sandman's Death really is a rather comforting way of thinking about it.

Thank you so much! I've been wanting to write a Sandman/Torchwood crossover for a while now, but wasn't sure which angle to take until I saw "Exit Wounds."

To be honest, I couldn't decide what Death was going to say to Tosh - if it was going to be about Tommy or Owen or love in general. But in retrospect, I like the ambiguity.
