Oh. Lovely. I think Remus' reaction is very understandable, and Sirius and his reasons and "if"s and justified crying, and of course I have to say it:

"There are two people in this world that I really love. I love James, and I love you. James is my brother, and you're my-- I don't know."

I loved it all. Sorry about the noncoherence... lacking in sleep at the moment.

Thank you! *sigh* I can't decide if I want to be angry with Remus or not. He hurt Sirius deliberately, whereas Sirius nearly got everyone killed, but it was out of monumental stupidity. *shakes head* Boys, boys.

Mmm...and now I can't decide which I like better. When I read the books, I'm in love with Lupin. But I think I prefer to write from Sirius' POV. *loves them both madly*

Oh my god. You told me earlier that you'd finished MC4, but I never expected it would be like this. It's just wonderful. The part in the shower gave me chills. I'm glad they started to work things out, though. It seems real. It's as big a relief for me as it would be if I were in a similar situation. This is really really really good.

You're welcome about the picture! Always happy to spread the S/R love. (The shower scene was actually inspired by another of Marta's pics. I think it's at her current site, so you've probably seen it.)

I think the pups will be okay after this. At least until Halloween '81. :( They're talking at least. And cuddling.

Love this fic, Thistlerose! You've explained the reason for "the prank" so well (and - as usual - it's all Snape's fault). I 'ved the other ones in the series, but this one is - IMHO - the best of the lot.

I can't really blame Snape for what happened. It almost certainly would not have happened if he'd been minding his own business and realised that taunting Sirius was probably a Bad Idea, but it's more like he was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.
