This kills me. How did you DO that? I mean SMURFS and it works and it's funny but has a serious tone too. I'm very amused. Nice job.

Thank you so much!

*g* I wrote it Saturday, but felt badly about posting it on Easter because of the whole mass killing angle. I was actually a little nervous about posting it at all, but...they're Smurfs.

I'm glad you liked it!

I think that mass murder of Smurfs is generally acceptable in humor. :) I thought it was great!

That's a relief. midnitemaraud_r can attest to my wibble attack. *g*

Not that I'd normally cheer for Snape, but--if he helped eliminate the Smurfs, I wholeheartedly approve. :-D

This was fun, thanks!

*g* I wouldn't either. I'm glad you liked this, though. Thank you!

My knowledge of the Smurfs is limited. I know I watched the TV show a few times. I do know enough to know that this is brilliant.
This sentence:

He'd just bottled fame, brewed glory, and stoppered death, and was looking forward to some tea and a little light reading before turning in for the night.

is a work of art all on its own!

Thank you! :)

You didn't miss much. I actually don't remember much about the show, except that it was pretty sexist. I did remember the villain well enough to be struck by his resemblence to Snape.

*Dies laughing* OMG, Snape killed my childhood! (Seriously, The Smurfs was the only Saturday morning cartoon I was allowed to watch.)

The resemblence between Snape and Gargamel really is uncanny. (Plus, you just know that if Snape doesn't appear in the history books, he totally would summon his great-great-great-great-great-great grandson from the future to make it right. Heh.)

I watched it sporadically when I was younger. I think I felt a little badly for Gargamel even then. :)

Thanks!
