That was worth the wait, I think.

I only watched Buffy for the first time over the summer, so I haven't really had the chance to think more about Jenny Calendar. I thought the way you wrote was very interesting and very believable. I'm a little confused about the timeline, but the rest of the details more than make up for it.

And I really liked the reference to "The Secret Language of Cats." I don't know if I ever commented on that one, but I do really like it as well!

So yes - congrats on finishing a great fic!

The story is set in 1989. Remus says at one point that he's twenty-nine, and mentions that it's been about eight years since the Potters died. Also, if you know Romanian history (which I didn't until I started writing this, so no worries *g*) the military coup took place in late 1989. I'm sorry about the confusion.

I really like the life you have built for Remus -- I mean it is a very sad life -- but well drawn.

I've never read a HP/Buffy before, and I should have. This made for a fabulous crossover fic. Very moody and beautifully written. Well done!

That was absolutely wonderful, and definitely worth the wait. There are so many great details, so much subtly implied backstory that I don't even know where to start complimenting it. It's heartbreaking, but it has to be. Oh, Remus! Oh, Jenny! Oh, Giles!
