I love everything about this: Sirius being able to arouse Remus with just a grope and few innuendos, Remus shifting seemlessly from being embarassed about Sirius's behavior (and his own reaction) to being embarassed by his second-hand stuff, the mirror bossing them around, and most of all, Sirius telling the mirror what it will and will not say.

"Or if anything happens." Yes, Sirius knows how fragile life is just now. I can easily imagine the mirror delivering it's message that Sirius loves Remus just after "something happens" and getting shattered for it's trouble.

Oh Freaking My Ghod.

This was absolutely brilliant. From beginning to end, lovely. I love it. Absolutely spot on. Just the right amount of cheek from Sirius and the perfect pinch of angst for Remus, and somehow when he was, er... kiss-fucking Sirius, I couldn't help but think of a dog marking its territory. ... It makes sense... And the best fics usually give me bunnies, and I think I see one hopping my way.

A perfect example of what a one-shot fic should be. Not too much preamble or excess verbiage (like my reviews tend to have ^_^), and a general assumtion of the situation that is possible in fanfiction because we're all working in the same general timeline of events, though the details change. That's one of the things that makes fanfiction so delightful, and you've utilized that to the hilt.

Anyway. What was I saying about excess verbiage? I'm putting this in my favorites - you rock.
