You're welcome! And congratulations! That's very exciting. :)

I was at the University of Edinburgh for a year (a study abroad program - I live in the US) and I've been back there only once since then. *sigh* I miss it terribly.

That's okay!

I love Edinburgh. I lived there for a year, when I was in college. I'd really like to get back there sometime.

Thanks so much for the link! *adds*

I keep thinking I should know more Scottish-themed fics, but I can't think of any besides the ones I listed. Sad, no? *g*

Well, I'm a bit late to this (came here via a belated perusal of hogwarts_today), but seeing as how you and I obviously have very similar taste (I made my icon, and presume you did too, lol), I'll rec one of my stories, Cartography of Fire, George/Remus, NC-17. Remus has discovered a perhaps-Neolithic summoning spell harbored in standing stones, including those at Kilmartin. That was the inspiration for the plot part of the story, and was one of my favorite places I visited in Scotland, until I went a second time and spent a week based in Stornoway.

Enjoy!

Ooh, thanks so much for the rec! Yes, that fits the theme and I'll add it in just a minute. :)

Thought I'd add my bit of kilt!Sirius to the list if you deem it appropriate...
