That wasn't my intention at first (originally I just wanted Harry to know that Sirius loved him and to admit that he loved Sirius back) but halfway through, that's what the fic decided it wanted to be about.
This is really touching. I definatley shouldn't have read it after i just finished reading a book that made me cry, because now I can't stop. It is just the sort of closure we need.
It was so wonderful, Rachel! As much as I love the love between Sirius and Remus, I think it's the Sirius/Harry bond that really gets me choked up. Thanks for this.
Same here. I can bear to think about and even talk and joke about Remus and Sirius, but not Harry and Sirius. I think part of the reason may be that most of us knew Remus/Sirius could only exist in our imaginations, despite all the gems (joint Christmas present!) JKR cast our way. Harry/Sirius was something we thought we could count on. It was something /I/ was really interested in seeing developed. :(

I have been unhappy all day. Am still unhappy after reading that, but in a better, more fulfilling sort of way. It was a very very beautiful story.
