Quite aside from the story (which elicited vast amounts of squee and joy)-- the fact that you also were hunting for a plushie wolf in FAO Schwartz is disconcerting. Did you also end up buying the plushie black dog instead?
*g* I didn't know where else to look! I'd done on-line searches. I knew FAO had lots of plush animals. And they had one wolf, with which I fell in love. I actually didn't get a black dog that day. I couldn't find one that fit the wolf. ^__~
That's quite unfair. There were no wolves when I went looking, just a rather cute black puppy (I bought two, one for myself and one for ariastar). And I've been unable to find any wolves elsewhere.
Well, Moony's not the cutest of wolves, but he was about the size, and vaguely the shape of my cat, so...I had to. The black lab pups I saw were so cute! I wish I'd gotten one. The one I ended up getting is the right size, and he's sweet, but he's just not as...squashy.
*grins* I remember reading this one a while ago, but really all I remembered about it was that it contained a sock puppet by the name of Footpad. Therefore, I'm very glad I read it again; it's made me all giggly and warm and fuzzy. Wonderful fic! ^^

You may be right about the non-angst factor, but it's a cruel story. Being so sweet and fluffy, you don't expect the terrific angst and turmoil that follows it. ^__~

Hee. Yes, that's right. I lured everyone in with this story, then proceded to turn up the angst. I'm quite evil. I think something horrible is going to have to happen to Footpad after Sirius is sent to Azkaban. :( That won't be a happy fic.
*Sheepish grin* The X was a variable...my memory is horrible, too, and I don't remember how many months it's been. Hmm...anniversary drabble sounds really cute, though. ^__^
