All of the things you did were not preditable, but they were right. Of course Sirius and James had to fight, of course Lily would have a crush on polite, bookish Remus. And the Snapes were perfect.
I got chills reading the bit where Bellatrix is watching Sirius, knowing what she'd do to him later in your other fics.
“Eustace is still my favourite,” said the boy. “Out of the whole series. He starts out as a right prig, but in the end… He’s quite brave in the end.”
^Sirius-reference, right? I love it! And having Lily like Polly works out extremely well, too. ^__^

*g* Kinda, yeah.
And Eustace was my favorite character, too.

I wasn't planning on continuing it. I don't really like writing about young kids (although Sirius and Snape were fun) and anyway, it's set in my ficverse. But...you never know.
I'm so glad you liked it!

I loved Sirius acting like Draco, and the freedom that fighting gave him was a great way to set up his later recklessness.
I love the letters. They're a great show of contrasts with very unique voices. Lily's sweet letter to Petunia really shows how Petunia misinterprets things.
Great story! Very, very insightful, particularly Severus, who was my favorite.

Except Sirius hates his parents, and Draco seems to think he has his around his little finger. I like to think Sirius was being a bit self-destructive in this story. People keep telling him how much like the rest of his family he is, I think he's unconsciously trying to provoke someone to beat it out of him. In a way.

I wonder if Petunia still has that photograph... I feel bad for young!Petunia, even though we haven't seen her in canon, yet.

*g* He was my favorite to write, too! Thanks so much!!

I love stories about origins...so even though I don't like writing about kids, this was a fun project. I actually liked writing about Severus!
