I did my taxes yesterday. With what I'm getting back from the government, I should be able to replace my ailing laptop (it's seven years old) and phone. I also set up a monthly donation to Planned Parenthood and became a member of the Sierra Club.

I'm impressed that you've done your taxes already. I haven't even received my W2 form yet.

Ours are delivered electronically, so I got mine Friday. Last year I forgot to sign up for electronic delivery, so I had to wait until like the end of February. But I need the $$ since my electronics are on their last legs. It also felt like a symbolic gesture this weekend since, unlike the *gag* president, I pay my taxes.

I'm just going to upgrade what I already have. I'm going to replace my iPhone5 with the 7, and get the new MacBook Pro. I've been a Mac person for 13 years. :)

That's a solid choice. I prefer iPhones just because I feel like they're very intuitive and they have the best range of apps.

Thanks! My MacBook Pro was a 30th birthday present to myself and she's been a great computer; I'm sad to see her go. But she's gotten so slow, and it's reached the point where I can't get updated software for her. :\
