My housemate is having dinner guests tomorrow, so I think I'll take myself to a movie. Either "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" or "War Horse," I think. Hmm.

This miniature food is pretty amazing. To the point that it's making me hungry.

And look what else! Hogwarts miniatures! Pretty overpriced, but still very cute ( Read more... )

cool!

Why are so many things so awesome when they're tiny? I want to get all those things for my dollhouse. But I also want real ones that I can eat. Ack, I'm hungry.

Ooh! She sells mini-food earrings on Etsy--I've purchased them before, and they're GORGEOUS!

The miniature food is fantastic! I once spent a fascinating few hours reading about all the techniques they use to make it. Especially creating the textures of things like bread. So amazing.

Where did you read about it? Because I'd love to learn more. The texture of some of these pieces is incredible. (And I want them all. *grabby hands*)

Hmm, Benedict Cumberbatch or...Benedict Cumberbatch...
although I'm used to him in Sherlock and he's VERY different in Tinker Tailor.

I haven't seen Warhorse. I did like Tinker Tailor although my mom didn't. She thought it was gloomy. I have to admit that quality-wise, it is a BBC miniseries on the big screen so it's quality in all aspects but not WOW like Hugo or The Artist.

Is he in both? I don't watch Sherlock, so I only know who he is; he doesn't really mean anything to me.

Hmm, I don't know. I guess I'll see how I feel tomorrow. Either way, it'll be heavy viewing.

Yep, he is in both.

Tell me what you think either way.

He's also going to be in the next Star Trek film.

The miniature food is really fun. That sliced tomato -- omg, think how long that must have taken to make. Wow.

I've been thinking of going to see "War Horse" myself. If you go, give us a report.

I know, right? The detail is incredible.

I didn't go to either movie tonight, but I still want to see both of them. If I do I'll let you know what I thought.
