Guh. So happy to see this! (Or any XMFC stories by you) What a wonderful moment and is it sad that I was kind of hoping, after seeing him, she would decide to stay?

Thank you! Raven was the character I found myself drawn to the most (though Alex is still the prettiest *g*) so I enjoyed exploring this moment in her life. She stands by her choice, but she lived with Charles for so long; I don't think she could turn her back so completely. Not right away, at least.

Thank you so much! I love Mystique in X1 and X2, so it was interesting seeing her in First Class. I was thinking of this story as a sort of bridge between the woman she is in the prequel and the woman she becomes.
