*sigh* I don't think I can deny it any longer. My favorite jeans are frayed beyond repair. Which means I now have exactly one pair that fits me and aren't frayed. And I don't even like that pair very much. I got it because it was on sale. *grumble* I could replace the favorite pair. The company that made them (I got them in 2003) still

I like Eddie Bauer jeans. They come in various cuts and styles, and yes, petite. (And tall, too.)

I could give them a shot. We have a shop in Woodbury. They're not that much cheaper than the other jeans.

Ah, kittycats. And you had one named Pippin! That's a great name for a cat.

I have no advice on jeans, alas. I would buy the $80 mailorder Aussie jeans if I were you, but I often choose poorly.

I liked the name Pippin. Though I think the people at the shelter named him for the apple rather than the hobbit. *g*

These are the Aussie jeans. I'm particularly attached because they do something no jeans have done before: they make my butt not look huge.

I normally get my jeans at KMart or WalMart. Both have them for around $20, usually overflowing in the shorter leg lengths. (My legs need the long, so of course we have trouble finding them because we want them.)

And Sophie is lovely. Even more so since she can't make my head all stuffy from a picture. ^_~

I've grown rather attached to my Sophie. *g* I think she has the most beautiful, evil eyes of any cat ever.
