A/N: For ayaerhis, who wanted to know what happened on week after Lessons in Spontaneity. 1,080 words. Apparently, Vulcans enjoy mocha. I ♥ Memory Alpha.

( Nyota was under the impression that he did not fully understand the concept of spontaneity. Spock could not say why this troubled him exactly, or why, the night after their kiss beneath the boughs of the jumja tree in the botanical garden, he'd sat awake meditating on her words and the way she'd laughed when he'd attempted to explain his actions. )

Oh, that was so sweet! I liked how Spock considered so hard about how, uh, not to consider things, and something about all the cold weather descriptions really worked well.

On the contrary - I think there was entirely too much thought. ;)

I really loved the ending, though - that was perfect! Very sweet, and true to form, I think.

Love it! Despite all of Spock's planning and efforts, he finally learned to be spontaneous.

Would like a Vulcan mocha now. Do they have them at Starbucks?
