I love being lazy on a Saturday. Though it's actually getting a little nippy, sitting by the open window. The summer's really almost over. *weeps

It's almost noon, and I'm still in my pajamas. *facepalm* Sundays, yeah. Sundays are for homework and fretting about the coming week. Fridays and Saturdays are my favorites.
I'm thinking that, as a side job, Scotty runs Ship Talk, where people call in and he gives advice on fixing space ships. Kaylee, who's fallen through a rift in the universes or something, calls in not to ask for help but to correct him on something. They get to talking, and in the end he's like, "Who WAS that girl? MUST FIND HER!" They would be SO cute together, despite the age difference. (Or maybe this happens when Kaylee's a bit older.)
I love that Car Talk show! I know they are from the East coast (Boston, NY?) but their accents could be straight out of New Orleans' 9th ward. It makes me feel "at home" to listen to them. ^__^
Really? I think they sound incredibly Bostonian. (Which is where they're based.) Car Talk IS an awesome show. I listened to it as a kid, before I even had my learner's permit.
Yeah, the native New Orleans working-class accent is often mistaken for a Brooklyn accent. Sounds nothing like a typical "southern" accent which makes it harder for t.v. and movies to get the accent right.
Also, season 3 was kind of a let down on all fronts, so if you can enjoy post-season fic without seeing it, then power to you and just leave it that way. ;)
Some day I plan on watching S3, just because I miss the characters. But I'm not in a hurry. (I have so much to watch already! The Big Bang Theory! Middleman! TrueBlood! Star Trek!)
