*g* As someone who's closing in on thirty, every time I read about new!Bones grumbling about how old he is I get a little adkfhakdjfha even though it's totally IC. He's such a grouch. *pets him*

Anything can happen.
The thought just came to him, and it amazed him. That he could wake up thirty and feel younger than when he'd gone to sleep. That he could lie on the edge of the ocean, under a blue sky that hid a galaxy of stars and planets. That there were people who needed him and one of them lay asleep in his arms, breathing softly against his neck.

I LOVE the new movie, but I was a little irked that we didn't get to see McCoy's passion for his profession. That's sort of where Jim's speech came from. *g*
