Pretty funny that the fanfic writer couldn't help making Ayla still impossibly good at everything- having multiple roles of high status in the clan, after being so persecuted and frowned on her entire life with them so far? I wouldn't buy that at all . . .
I'm glad you saw the review here! I kept remembering to tell you I was wrong about The Cat Who Went to Heaven when I wasn't at my computer to do so... It's so weird, I remember it as being a good talking animal story, but the cat's only comments were things like "Look how strong the buffalo is, no wonder it was one of Buddha's favorites!".
I was having such a hard time believing that Ayla was even more perfect at everything in the fanfic than in the actual books... Fanfics usually fix issues, not make them worse!
